About Me

First let me welcome you all to my page.  I am Kevin Davis or as some may affectionately know me, KD.  I’m a long-time NBA fan (been watching since the ripe old age of 6 in ’91 [beginning of the first Bulls 3peat]) and graduate of law school who wishes to pursue a career as front office exec or to represent players as an agent.

My thoughts may seem a little different than the norm at first, but I’m an avid fan of the league.  When my nose isn’t in the books, I’m watching a game or reading about the latest happenings in the league.  It’s just that when I look at teams, as well as the league in general, I see an imperfect machine; and strive for ways to make it better for the players and the teams, as well as the league.

This blog will feature a coverage seeking to do just that.  I will cover the NBA's on court action, but also collective bargaining, legal issues, and rumors/trade scenario's.  I have always been just as fascinated by the front office aspects of the league as the game itself.  As a kid (and sometimes still today) I would spend hours playing "franchise modes" in video games, meticulously trading, signing and drafting my way to a contender while simulating the actual games.

After seeing how interesting controlling a franchise could be, I decided I'd pursue it as a career.  After spending 3 long years in law school, that's just what I'm doing.  Wish me luck.
